• On-site classes continue to be free to staff - taught by UCB's training partner AcademyX. Classes will primarily be taught on Microsoft Office 2007 and Adobe CS3.

  To sign up on-line go through the UCB Learning Center
  Go to http://Blu.berkeley.edu 
  Authenticate using your Calnet ID 
  select “UCB Learning Center”in the “Self Service” section.
  From there you can browse or search by topic or course code e.g. BECOE006* or "Word 2007" to find the course you want and actually enroll.

• Use e-Learn  for on-line self-paced tutorials and reference books. Go to Blu http://blu.berkeley.edu log-in with your CalNet ID and locate e-learn within the self-service box. Try one of our open computer Lab Sessions this summer to "find the time" to try self paced training.
• If the posted CalPact schedule does not meet your needs, save 40% off retail classes in any topic AcademyX offers. To get the UCB rate, type “UC” in the "add coupon" then recalculate to see discounted price.
• Staff can also attend free workshops through Haas Computing Services as space permits. They teach in 90 minute modules on MS 2007. Classes at Haas are fast paced and designed for MBA students. Do not expect the class to slow down or cater to you.
